Is the SIMS Cable Dampener with getting?
I was thinking of getting the SIMS Stealth Cable Dampener. On your bow can you hear or feel a difference with one on? Is it worth buying? I shoot a PSE Firestorm if that helps. Thanks

I think that it would depend on the bow. If you are shooting one of the bows that already exhibits low levels of vibration and recoil with/without limbsavers then adding the cable dampener probably won' t make that much of a difference. However, if your bow is still somewhat loud or does still exhibit too much vibration/recoil for your personal tastes then you may definitely want to consider them.

I tried them out last summer, and with a digital sound meter, they made no difference. This year I put them on the very end of the cable guard, insted of in front of the slide, and they actually made a noticable difference. I pulled out the meter, and it was 2db lower. I wouldn' t buy them just for that, but since I already had them, I went ahead and left it on. Afterall, it' s not like you can be too quiet!

I had a Darton Maverick that it made night and day difference in noise but since then I' ve put them on a Hoyt Havoc and a Mathews MQ1 and they made little if an difference.
