Default BK2 troubles

I have been shooting the heck out of this bow and it seemed that my form was falling apart. then I noticed that it was getting out of time a little bit. I brought it to a dealer who took about 1/2 an hour with me to find out that one of the draw length modules was starting to crack. He told me that he had heard this was a problem with this cam and mod style. He told me to go to the place I bought it and see what they said about it . They said they had not heard of the problem except on a bow that was set at over a hundred lbs. My question is which one is pulling my leg? And has anyone on this board had any thing like this happen? Its a 2002. any info on this would be a big help. Thanx Don

Does it look cracked to you? Are you sure he' s just not seeing the edge of the module? I' ve never heard of the problem myself. Did you remove it and inspect up close?

My brother in law is a dealer and has never heard anything about this prob. Get ahold of bowtech and ask them they' ll tell you if they had any prob. with the mods. they are pretty honest and will tell you the truth. if they had trouble with them

I could see that a crack could start to develope if the module screws were not tight and you shot the " heck" out of it. I' ve personaly never heard of any module developing a crack but anything can happen. A new set can be bought for about $20.00 if you are not the original owner, otherwise it probably will be covered under warranty.

Thanx for the info people I really apreciate it. In answer to Nub' s ? yes I took it off and it was cracked across the mod making it bend some what at full draw. I called bowtech today and they haven' t heard of it happening all that much so I guess I will wait for the new ones to get here and take it from there. Thanx again for the replies. Don
