Last pin??? Where' s your first one set???
I believe, for hunting, you should use 3 pins regardless of your setup. If you' re shooting below 225 fps, set them at 10, 20, and 30 yards. And learn to gap shoot for in between yardages.
If you' re shooting 230 fps or faster, I would set them at 20, 30, and 40 yards. At that speed, you' re talking maybe an inch difference in impact point for 10 and 20 yards.
I don' t advocate shooting at 40 yards unless you can hit the target EVERY time in the vitals, the animal is completely unaware you' re around, is standing completely still and not moving, AND, then only as a last resort.
That' s my thoughts. You may get others and you' ll have to decide what is best for you. Good luck to ya.
