Default Arrow flight?

When shooting, I notice my arrow kicks out - then will straighten out. Is this normal? and is there an advantage to helical fletching?

If your arrow is kicking to the left or the right then you need to move your rest either left or right. Assuming that you have correctly spined arrows for your bow.

The advantage to helical is that it will stabilize your arrow faster and impart more control on the arrow to correct the effects of wind planing when using a fixed blade head.
