Quick check for me. GT CAAs
#11
Don't mean to rain on your parade but, I tried the very same thing as you are doing and it ended up costing me twice as much money n the end.
My shop carried them for one year and stopped ordering/dropped them (along with the all carbons). The dozen I bought shot well- but I trashed a few within a couple days. I quickly got rid of the IC type nocks they came with and put unis and G nocks in. That helped , but Id def reccomend not shooting groups or 3D where someone else is going to be hitting around your arrrow- at least as regards to the old ones- like I said GT may have made some improvements. Ive heard that BH also used lower grade/softer (i.e not 7075) aluminum and that is what causes the bending/denting issues.
The one thing I do prefer on the CAA is that the 3490s (now 390 or whatever) have a flared insert to match up better with the base of a broadhead-eliminates the need for a BAR.
I hope they work out better for you than they did me!

Thanks, we'll see how they hold up. I have plenty of G-nocks around, and will replace the adapter system/pin nocks with uni's if I have to. I don't shoot groups at any distance. For 3D, I could definitely see them being an issue, but again, we'll see. I wan to try something new, and for the price I paid, if I have to, I can easily sell these, and be just fine.

I did bend a few of mine, but never from normal use. Just the same Matt, before you frusterate yourself as I did on one shaft, get a spin tester.
