Throw another vote in for Dan's stabilizer.
After that I would suggest the Octane's shortest model as well as the little, inexpensive Sims model. One of things I like about the Black Ice is its balance and overall lightweight. These stabilizers don't compromise either of those characteristics while still allowing for noise and vibration reduction.

I call them a String SuppressorI've heard them called all sorts of names including, stabilizers, silencers, thumpers, etc.[8D]
