pretty much. I have gotten away with just replacing one feather if using fletching tape, but for vanes you have to replace everything. The good news is most wrap/vane combo's are pretty tough now a days and you shouldn't have much of a problem.

When I put my wraps on I put them right below the vanes and didn't bother the flight or accuracy at all! I have had my off moments shooting and ended up testing them through a picket fence...whooped right through and did no more damage to the wrap the it did to my blazers! That could all depend on quality of what you shoot into or through I suppose!

I loaned one arrow with the purty wraps to The Rev...don't think he wanted to hunt with it but maybe snuggle. And one didn't handle a concrete slab too well, thats to be expected I guess!I pushed one through tender spot on bag through back fence and it faired pretty good!
