I do have full coverage. 100% sure, but I didn't claim it, because it didn't look like it was in too bad of shape. Got $7,000 for the Jeep and it wasn't worth $3,000. I paid $3,900 for it and beat the heck out of it.

If BOTH axles are like that, I'd be scared to death to shoot that thing. heck, i'd be scared to be within 5 feet of it. Get it to a good shop and have them fix it.
No, it's just the bottom one.

So, do you guys think that the rollover killed my bow? I don't, but it is possible. I didn't want the insurance company to just cut me a check for the used bow and then have to go get a new one. At the time, I didn't have the funds. I thought I was going to get like $3000 for the Jeep and I need every cent to buy a new car, not a new bow. I'll post the pics of the accident for you entertainment.

I had a bow get hit in a crash, they replaced the bow and let me keep the old one.

Of course the agent is a pro hunter for a BIG bow company. That agents company became my insurance company.;)

RE: Silencing a speed bow.

I actually had it happen 2 years in a row and the second year, the insurance company wasn't as good to me.State Farm(both wrecks were the other person's fault).I told them of the situation and that I was going to get the bow checked out by someone with a shooting machine who had previously had the bow on the machine and knew the specs.I told them I would like to be reembursed for that evaluation and they told me they would not pay if the bow checked out.:eek:So all I had to do was say the bow was junk and they would have had to buy me a new bow.The guy was a friend and only charged me 20 bucks and he told me it was fine but that really pissed me off, especially considering that it usually cost 100 bucks to put a bow on a shooting machine.
