Straight should be fine for 3d but i don't recommend it for hunting. I had a lot of trouble getting straight fletch to control the broadhead. I put offset on and its much better(when i don't get contact)

Yep... that would be a one Mr. Crackers shop. So want that guy to tune my bow -- but he does have a unbeleivably long wait.
I have done the lipstick trick but i might try it again. It just doesn't make sense that one would hit true and the other flies all over the place. I can def see a difference in arow flight sometimes it corkscrews sometimes it doesn't. My centershot was set by lazer -- I know this is just a starting point. Like I said I was late to the party on fine tuning. I am half thinking of hangin up the bow for hunting this season and getting out the crossbow until I get this thing finetuned

I am getting on that waiting list. I will have the only all Obsession bow!
I was thinking that the straight would be better for a distance shot at an Elk out west. It would be important to keep that speed up for a 90 yard shot.

Ok so I just went out and shot. I altered my nock alignment and they all seemed to not corkscrew. Not all my shots were dead on but again we are having high winds and its cold as heck out there... but for the most part they all hit a about 1 -2 inches low.

So here is my plan after the season: New strings, drop away, walk back and then broadhead. Anything else I should look for. I know about the bow specs and what not after the string gets put on.
