I like the idea...has anyone tried them? They' re supposed to quiet the bow while actually increasing your arrow speed slightly. Does it really quiet it though?? enough?? Mostly I think they just look cool and want a reason to put them on

I used them last season after my leeches kept breaking. They worked ok but I noticed a little slapping sound when I would pluck the string. I decided to give the new kevlar leeches a try again and they certainly do make a noticable deifference. The slapping sound of the spider legs hitting each other is gone and there is just a thud now.

I used the accelerator balls without the spider legs and they worked well for both silencing and speed gain. I have a short draw length so I was always looking for a few extra fps and tried them. Once I found the sweet spot on the string, I gained 5 fps and my bow seemed quieter to me. I changed strings and I forgot to put them back on, so I will be doing that soon.

I use them, this will be my second year and although i did' nt get much gain in speed i think they quiet the bow down pretty good and i thought they looked cool to thats the real reason i bought them, you can also use them without the speedballs.
