Default Not the same old peep question

Been shooting bows for a looooong time but have always shot instinctively even with my old compound, but now I am trying sights and about to get a peep installed on my 82nd

My question is would a peep without an aliagning tube work if I am shooting finger release?

Any answers would be apprreciated especially if you shoot fingers but even guesses would be good.

Thanks

I've noticed that after tinkering with my bows, I'll draw them back with fingers and the peep will line up more often than not. And I don't shoot a tube peep on anything anymore. Good strings and cables will give you reliable peep rotation, but I'm not sure how reliable with finger shooting.

Hey, never hurts to try right ? As long as you try it on targets first..... . I'd be curious to see how it worked out myself.

What's the worst that can happen ? It doesn't turn in once and you have to let down on the target in your yard?

I don't know if anyone else is as nutty as me, but before hunting season, I'll actually practice now and then with fingers in case I drop my release out of the tree or something stupid like that. Of course I keep the shots to 15 yards or so, but at least I know I can hit a baseball size spot consistently if I have to. And my peep seems to work ok then too.
