82nd Bow Press Question
Hi
I have recently received my 82nd and after years of shooting instinctively with both compound and recurve I am venturing into the world of sights.
I have a Spot Hog sight on the bow and have been practising with it without a peep sight but I think my accuracy would improve if I get a peep installed.
My local bowshop has a normal roller type bowpress I am sure I have read on here somewhere that this type of press can damage parallel limb bows. So my question is do they?
Having said that he works on bows such as Hoyt Katera's so I would have thought they were similar?
Thanks

RE: 82nd Bow Press Question
It depends on what kind of press it is. Most of th presses Ive seen that would damage it you cant even use a parellel bow in them, the limbs will hit before they are compressed. Best thing to do is ask them about it. If they say it will work then hold them responcible for the damages if it doesnt, you can always go else where. Either way I would highly recomend going to a peep sight. Good luck.

Thanks, thats pretty much what I was planning to do, but thought I would ask anyway.
It is a part time bussiness for him so I will drop in to see him on Saturday and see what he can do.
