I just bought the Carbon Express Heritage Series 350's because I love the look of old-school arrows. I know enough (barely) about arrows and that these aren't as good as the maximas or the new aramids or the terminators. The Heritage are a bit heavier (approx. 11 gpi) and the stiffness varies from one arrow to the next about .005. Do you guys think these arrows are too inferior to use in the field? Or, are they just an average arrow that an average amateur like myself should be able to use with confidence and success? My set up is a Matthew Outback 60#, arrow length of 29.5 and a 30" draw.

They will be perfectly fine to use in the field. I have plenty of friends that shoot them out of their trad gear and really like them.

They might be fine for now, but down the road as you get better you might find that average, so-so arrows are what keep you a so-so shooter. Just something to consider.

There is absolutely nothing so-so or inferior about those arrows. They are a widely popular choice for traditional shooters, including myself. They are extremely tough, and of great quality. Just because they don’t cost as much, doesn’t mean they area inferior.

I agree! Fine for now, but no use in skimping on the one of the most important pieces of your equipment down the road.

The Heritage shafts are very consistant in spine and weight--more so than GoldTips XT's.They fly great and are very durable.They're a heavier shaft but man,do they blow thru the deer!
