Where do you find/hire the nearest professional archery coach?

I like to improve my shooting as much as possible and I have exhausted my local shops.

OK, you might join a local club and find one there. There are always some rally good shooters playing around at a club somewhere. If you don't know where there is a club then you might head back to the shop and ask. You might get lucky and find someone who is good enough to coach you for free.

Just finding someone to shoot with is handy! I shoot better the better the other person is...I maynot best them but my personel shooting improves.I noticed this shooting pool...may not win but improvement is visable and learn watching the other person.

Well I see you are from North Carolina. I'm not sure how far you are from Waynesville but there is a guy that runs a shop there that has coaching by him and his wife and Larry wise. Their web sight is www.righ-on-target.comand his number is 828-926-8307. If he is not close enough maybe he can point you in the right direction. Good luck.

I'd be looking for a NAA or NFAA certified level 3 or 4 coach. Unfortunately there is no directory on the NFAA website, but NAA has a directory.

http://www.usarchery.org/usarchery/index.cfm?ID=CCC35319-A0D0-417A-870376D0A1C16C89

You might want to call the NFAA headquarters to see if they can help you find a certified coach in your area as well. Good luck!!
