Default cutting arrows

I just bought 2 cx maxima arrows today to try out and they shoot perfect out my bow.My question is when cutting these arrows with the weight forward built in should I get them cut from the front or back.I normallybuy the bare shaft arrows and build my own.Anyone know the proper method for cutting these arrows.

Robert.

Where these cut then made up?

If so they would have more than likely cut from the front end. If it was me I would be cutting them from the back to keep as much weight forward as I could.

Yea RUSSEL they were cut from the front. That is why I wanted to know the correct method for cutting them, because if I decide to go with these particular arrows I would be buying them bare shaft and making my own.I was thinking along the same line as you though, makes more sense to cut from the back for the retention of more foc.

Cut them like normal shafts. If you cut them from the back you are just moving the weighted part of the shaft to the rear. Not the ideal thing!
