MATHEWS LEGACY???
#1
When the string is released does it come to a solid stop because of the string suppressors and cause a thud(bow shock)? If so would the Q2 be smoother on the release?I dont have a mathews dealer in my area and need info before i buy!
THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS!!!

The legacy is a very smooth bow.I shot one open handed no wrist strap. The bow just does not move after the shot.No recoil to speak of.The q2 is real close.I think the real difference in the bows is the cams. The legacy is a little easier drawing bow IMHO.

[WELL CANNOT NOT TELL YOU WHAT THE STRING DOES ON THE BUMP STOPS.
BUT I CAN TELL YOU I HAD TO PUT MY FOOT IN MY MOUTH. I DIDN' T BELIVE ANY COULD BE QUITER AND SMOOTHER THEN THE MQ1 JUST HOW COULD THEY IMPROVE THAT. WOW...IT IS ONE SWEET SHOOTER...YOU WOULD NOT GO WRONG. FORM WHAT THE GUYS AT THIS PRO SHOP IT IS AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE Q2.
THANKS

If you can find a smoother bow than Legacy, buy it. I think the Legacy is smoother than Q2. I shot one all last year and it was smooth. Now if my new LX will get here hopfully I can say the same for it.

I' ve used my Legacys for a year and they' re the best bow I' ve shot, just waiting to get my paws on the LX to compare the 2. Less string noise is the main factor of the string suppressors. With the parallel limb design there' s virtually no recoil.

The legacy has very little shock & makes almost no noise at the shot. naturally the string will continue to move forward in the general area of the nock but the main thing is that the supressors take out that vibration after the shot.
