Default Drop-aways with Blazer vanes

I am thinking about getting the Ripcord drop away and in researching this rest along with the QAD Ultra Rest I noticed that standard vanes barely clear the containment arms. I'm curious if anybody has had an issue with shooting blazer vanes through either of these rests?

nope no issues at all i ve been shooting a drenelin with a rip cord
and a general with a quad both with blazers

I'm shooting blazer's through my Qad Ultra Pro from my allegiance with no issue's here .

I put the ultra rest on my dxt this weekend and coated my blazers with white foot spray and experienced no clearance issues at all. If you do experience problems, adjust the tension and that should take care of it.

Funny, I was also planning on putting the Ripcord on a General. Between the QAD and the Ripcord which do you like better? Would one work better with a General?

Of the two I like the fact that the QAD locks down to prevent bounce back after the shot. No issues with Blazers out of the QAD here but I did have to slide it all the way forward to get it to drop away before the vanes got to it.

i like the quad a little better due to full containment even at let down otherwise they shoot the same on the general
i like them both and since i own both of them i have no issues with eighter

It's like anything else, If I own and use one then it's better than the other one. The Rip Cord is a full containment, and the forks on the rest won't stay up if you have to let your draw down, which this hasn't caused me any big problems working this way. I can remember one or two times I've had to let my draw back down, and the arrow never fell off the rest.. Big Deal.
