Ive been using them for a couple of years now. As far as speed gain, yeah you will gain speed going from a huge peep with the rubber tubing to a meta peep. I dont think you will gain much from a normal peep, they are just a premium cool blue peep sight. They say the magnesium is a natural vibration dampener, I dont know if that makes a difference either.

I wouldn't shoot anything but a Tru-peep or the G5 meta peep. The meta peep is lighter but cost about $7 more I doubt that is a problem for most. I like the color (good contrast for aiming), they are lighter, and very well made. They are available in 3/32", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", and 5/16"
