Default tiller adjustment

is tiller adjustment really necessary or just a matter of personal preference...as in how you want the bow to feel when drawing it?

Al thank you for asking the question and Greg thank you for the link as I have been experience a kind of automatic lift up when I would put my pin on target.

Arthur P Thank you for a very helpful post.

Since that post with Arthur P. last week, I have been playing around a bit with the tillers on my bows. It seems like, at least for the Hoyt bows, having the top limb backed off about 2/3 of a turn makesthem track fairly straight - both coming and going. I am surprised how much easier it is to keep the sight pin on the target as the arrow is released.

ArthurP's post makes perfect sense.

Once you back out the top limbon Hoyts and Bowtechs ,do you need to re-time the cams?
Will this adjustment change the timing at all?
