RE: My bow BLEW UP!!!!!!!!!
Did you say that it blew up as you were letting it back down? If that was the case it could be caused by torquing the bow as ur letting down making the string roll off the cam. As far as the limbs coming out of the pockets, I would think that could only be caused by having the limbs backed down too far or could just be a result of the blow up. In any case hope it gets fixed soon and you're back out there shooting in no time.

not funne...but reminds of a story that was told to me by an oldtimer..
he and a buddy were hunting..his buddy comes walking to his stand
with something in his hands,,,,he said he couldnt make it out...it looked
like a mess of barbed wire..(im cracking up as i write this ..sorry) he
said, "jim..what fk is that"///Jim said, "its my fking bow...it blew up when
i shot it"...talk about a deers revenge. sorry guy, the the above post
sounds correct...limbs backed to far out..if thy were tight..that probably
wouldnt happen

My best guess is the same as jeremy's. You must've twisted the riser out of line with the string when you were letting down and let the string run out of it's tracks. It's darn easy to do if you're not paying attention and get a little careless.

It's also real darn easy to touch the trigger on your release and not realize you did it.
Had a customer in the store that drew a drenalin back with his release. As he was letting down I saw hisfinger touch the trigger and kapow. Hepurchased a brand new but unshootable drenalin.

But it sounds like these new bows cannot. What made it unshootable? Was the axles bent? Did the limbs crack, or string break? Worst case would be warped riser I guess.
That would be a cryin shame.

There are basic safety procedures that will prevent almost all dry fires. Never draw a bow without an arrow on the string. Keep your finger behind the trigger until ready to shoot.
Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
With a standard trigger release, keep your finger behind the trigger and pushing forward on it if you are just checking out the feel of the bow.
Dealers should give those instructions to every customer, every time before letting them draw bows.
