It's also real darn easy to touch the trigger on your release and not realize you did it.
Had a customer in the store that drew a drenalin back with his release. As he was letting down I saw hisfinger touch the trigger and kapow. Hepurchased a brand new but unshootable drenalin.
I have a old PSE that was dry fired once. It survived it. I replaced one axle that was iffy, replaced the string and cable this year. I know a few people with the older bows that survive a dry fire without noticable harm.
But it sounds like these new bows cannot. What made it unshootable? Was the axles bent? Did the limbs crack, or string break? Worst case would be warped riser I guess.
That would be a cryin shame.
