Had a customer in the store that drew a drenalin back with his release. As he was letting down I saw hisfinger touch the trigger and kapow. Hepurchased a brand new but unshootable drenalin.
IMO, that one was on the dealer and not the customer.
There are basic safety procedures that will prevent almost all dry fires. Never draw a bow without an arrow on the string. Keep your finger behind the trigger until ready to shoot.
Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
With a standard trigger release, keep your finger behind the trigger and pushing forward on it if you are just checking out the feel of the bow.
Dealers should give those instructions to every customer, every time before letting them draw bows.
