I would have to say yes, I've noticed if I shoot under pressure and jerk the trigger a little bit and I get a little left and right deviation from where I shoot when I'm calm and relaxed

That is about right. You need a solid back wall, some back tension, and move only your trigger finger when releasing and it should be slow steady pressure on the trigger. That's what works for me anyways.

something that helped me that may work in your case is making sure that you're not pulling the trigger with the end of your finger.set your release so that the trigger is behind the first knuckle of your indexfinger.

Everyone punchs the release at times, I rush the shot sometimes and know it as soon as I do it. I don't do it hunting per say, but I do it at the range especially if am shooting a lot of arrows. Need to just wait on the release to do it's job. Some confuse target panic with punching. They are completly two seperate things. Never use your trigger like a rifle. If you're using a trigger release, hold it, and pull back slowly like you're drawing back all the while concentrating you you're target. You never squeeze the trigger on a bow.
