Question about arrow inserts
Are the arrow inserts pressed in, or glued?
I have cabela's carbon arrows, and have shot them, maybe 10-15 times, and have already lost 2 out of 3 practice field points.

RE: Question about arrow inserts
They are supposed to be glued in. Take a pair ofpliers and try and turn the field tip clockwise or even pull the field tip and insert out. If it comes out they were not glued in.
What are you shooting into that the field tips are getting stuck? If you hit into hard wood deep enough the inserts will pull out due to the impact with the wood and also the force that it takes to try and remove them.

RE: Question about arrow inserts
Lost one in "The Block" layered foam target. The Other time was at the municipal Archery Range, 3/4" sheets of something stacked. Looked like soft particle board or something. Wouldn't have minded if I had bought the cheap field points,... but shooting the Satellite Matchpoint field tips at $12 for 3, ticked me off.

RE: Question about arrow inserts
I'd say that they are not glued in properly if one comes out of a block.
Your description of the second target sounds familiar. Are you shooting at Anne Arundel Archers in Maryland by chance?
