Default stablizer or not

next question,
I just changed the sling on my tomkat and the shop owner asked me if I didn't have a stablizer up front.
Which I don't have, but would it make any difference putting one on ?

Default RE: stablizer or not

If your talking about the wrist slings then it it can. Most slings are made to utilize the mounting bolt that are on the stabs. They just slip over it and then it is screwed into your bow. But I would imadgine that if you don't want a stabilizer then you could ask him for the correct bolt and just mount your sling that way. I like to use stabilizers because I believe that they reduce hand shock (if you buy the right one) and balance out the bow for a better steadier shop. Just my opinion.
