The best way I have found is to put the arrow in the Jig with the open space up, then rotate the nock until the vane on the left comes up to the clamp area, now rotate the nock index one click to the left, You now have equal spacing between the vanes. Works for me

if i am thinking right....the bitz is indexed for cock feather out...if you twist your knock(90 deg)for cock vane down after the arrow is fletched...
put the arrow in the jig and turn the nock 90degrees.....
then turn the index nob the nob untill it clicks on the spot u need fletched...it should line up right betweenas long as you turned the knock correctly....or you could eye ball it...really its not that important if your off a little if you shoot a drop away or whiskerdoodad.

it is a pain to do just one fletch so i do all 3... other than that the Bitz is great

isnt there some leftover glue where the old fletch is....that could be your reference right there????????????????

AC, yeah i could use the old glue I guess, I just like to clean the shaft so that I get a good bond between the fletch and the arrow... I'm going to try some stuff this week and I'll see if I can't come up with a simple solution.

I'm not seeing the issue. I do this all the time. I simple put my arrow in the jig, spin the arrow to lay a vane next to the magnet where the clamp will go, turn it appropriatley with the nock base and fletch away. I guess I'm not seeing what you guys aren't seeing. I feel it's very simple.

Yep, that and the fact that generally by the time I need to replace one feather the other two are pretty much used up as well and it's about time to just reflecth the whole arrow.... Heck, what's it cost once you own your own Bitz? Like a couple pennies?
