Default Bow weight in relation to vibration?

I assume that the weight of a bow has some bearing on felt vibration? Would a bow of a heavier weight, if all other variable were the same, have less felt vibration? Thanks for any responses.

I take it that you are talking mass weight of the bow.

If that is the case then yes the heavier the(bare)bow the less vibration would be felt due to the fact of more material to absorb the said vibration.

So, can you ever have a bow get "too light?"
