Default Static yoke vs dynamic yoke

So, I just got my new strings and cables from Bucknasty (excellent work again) and noticed the following.
My Vectrix came with a stock dynamic yoke, and the new string I got from Bucknasty has a static, or non moving yoke, do you think there is going to be a problem using the static one rather than a dynamic one? The only issue I could think would be a problem would be cam lean, and my coach thinks the static yoke might actually help, rather than hinder.
Just wanted to see what everyones input was...
What do you think Gibblet?

A static yoke is pretty easy to dial cam lean into or out of by adding twists to either side. Make sure you tune it so that there is no lean at full draw, it doesn't matter what it looks like when not drawn.

word! and that's why i did it. some bows really like floating yokes, but if your string isn't coming off straight at full draw there isn't anything you can do about it - well, except serve the thing shut and then make adjustments. if you didn't say anything one way or another i would have made it floating since that is what it comes with - so i'm surprised i goofed like that - but in my personal opinion its a good thing i goofed. i've changed my mind on floating yokes for most bows - the trykon and vectrix lines being ones that, in my opinion, need static yokes if you want the most out of your tuning.

that said - say the word and a floating yoke is on its way. john

ok, so am i reading this correctly that we should try splitting the difference between getting everything parallel at rest, and having it parallel at full draw?

Thanks alot everyone!!!
Ill take the dynamic yoke, but for now I am going to try to tune my Vectrix with the static yoke. It will just be sweet to have both options if I need to switch from one to another.
Happy Friday All
