Pic of guardian string cutting off sight

The other thing you have to be very aware of is vane clearance. I have to position my vanes slightly with cock vane up and in to clear my Blazers from contacting the cables when shot on my Allegiance. It appears to be similiar on your bow. I discovered this by accident and in time my Blazers would have cut the cable for sure.

I stopped by the archery shop today and shot the Guardian again
I did take note of the view while shooting this bow again and there MIGHT be 10% to 15% of the sight ring "blocked" by the cable. It's a fuzzy image of the cable at that if you focus on the target like you're supposed to. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't looking for it. I won't be making any changes on mine to eliminate it

It's hard to believe it was built like that. It would bother the crap out of me to. Justin said his early model allegiance had clearence issues too.

It certainly didn't bother me enough to even notice it the first time I shot theGuardiana week ago. It certainly won't change my mind about ordering one in smoke chrome,, now that my company and union agreed on a contract
A few years ago, BowTech started building their risers with an extreme amount of centershot. The reason was that the designer wanted the shooter to see the complete sight ring outside the riser. Lots of comments after were that their old sight and rest wouldn't go out far enough to sight and tune their bow. Many other bow's risers at the time hid part of the sight ring and we didn't hear too many complain, more complained that BowTech shouldn't have did what they did with the extreme sight window[&:]
Guess you just can't please everyone

The Guardian just has too many more good things going than dismiss it because a cable MIGHT be in a small area of the upper right corner ofthe sight picture (on a right handed bow). IMO

wwag, with cock vane up, My 06 Allegiance has clearance trouble with my Blazers. I need to twist it slightly so that the cock vane is up and in so the next vane clockwise doesn't nick the cable. Doesn't matter though, shoots incredibly.

I shoot with one vane straight down which puts one vane pointing straight at the cable slide where you'll get the most clearance
Then again, I'm shooting my Plainsman drop away rest that allows me to do that.
