Default Darton Pro3000.......

Anyone seen one of these? I am curious to see if Len has had his hands on one yet, I hear he has shot Dartons quite a bit and I know he knows his binaries.

It appears to be a binary with some sort of floating yoke attached to both sides of the cam with dual take up drums on the outside of the cam? Pivoting limb pockets and 330fps!

I love this time of year.......soo many cool products hitting the market.

It is an exciting time of year, but it's also a time my bank account gets drained......New bow and a dozen new GoldTip arrows......and I'm JUST getting started....

I've not seen one firsthand, but everything I hear about it has been positive. It's supposedly has a pretty hard breakover, but like I've said, I haven't shot one......

I would be interested to hear more about that Yoke design. It looks similar, at least from the pic, to some older yoke designs I remember servicing.

Darton is also bringing out several other Pro Series bows. The Pro2000 has 7.25" brace and a 320fps speed.

I bought a Darton AS400 about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I've never shot a Bowtech but these cams appear to be almost identical to Bowtechs binary cam. No strings attached to the limbs axles.I thought about trying out a Bowtech (the dealer is about 45 minutes away) but when I saw that Darton (my dealer sells Darton and is only five minutes away)and Bowtech came to some type of agreement earlier in the year I decided to wait and see if Darton would use the binary cam this year. I don't know how but I was right on. My dealer was promised three of them and I managed to get one. The bow shoots great. I had it sighted in in no time and even shot a doe with it last weekend. The noise level and bow movement upon release is similar to last years Darton bows. Mine has 7 inches BH, is 34 1/2 ATA, and I believe the IBO rating is 320FPS. It does not have the split yoke and the pivoting limb pockets and I'm guessing this will be the difference between the Pro series and Assault series.
I've also heard they will have a deflexed bow in there line up. I'm curious to see it and its specs.
