Let me get this write though . I can pull the cable towards my riser without any damage bein done?? . Seems like a great idea
Also was a humbling and good learning expierence to remeber to always practice bow maintence .

Yeh, you aren't going to hurt the bow. I do this all the time. I actually reserve a lot of strings simply by zip tying cables close to the riser to get the necessary clearance for my server tool. It's a lot less stress on the limbs and such than even drawing the bow.
The best alternative, though, in the long run is to have a portable bow press like the Bowmaster. Then you'll be able to do this job and many others like changing rigging and such.
