I was thinking of trying these vanes and was wondering what everyone thought of them? I currently shoot easton diamond vanes and have heard alot of good things about the duravanes so I thought I might try them. The 4 inch vanes are advertised to weight 8 grains per vanes, and the easton vanes are 8.2 grains per vane. This should help my FOC a little. I will be using them on carbon shafts cut to 30 inches, 3, 4 inch vanes, and 100 grain muzzy's. Tell me what ya think, and good hunting this season. Bhunter32.

I shoot the 2.6 duravanes on arrow dynamics stingers with a 100 3-blade muzzy and can find no fault with them. I shoot the same size on the 395 arrow dynamics for 3-d shooting and am tickled to death with them.

I must have gotten some bad vanes. I bought 100 green and 100 yellow 4" and they work real well but after fletching a dozen arrows, I shot thru several vanes after 2 days of shooting. I am not that good of a shot and only shoot 4 arrows at a time.I have always used Bonning in the past and the Duravanes seem to get shot thru a whole lot easier than others I have used.Bottom line, I won't buy any more after these are used up<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>. I have started using Duravanes recently & love them. before this I used the AAE's a lot and the duravanes are much better. I have had no bad luck from them & they shoot great and are easy to to get to hold on the shaft.

Bhunter32,
I've used both the Duravanes, and the AAE Plastifletch Elite. Both are excellent vanes, and I've gotten about the same performance from each. Ford & Chevy. BTW, your Easton Diamond vanes are AAE's, they just put the Easton logo on them and raise the price! Good luck with whichever you choose.
