Just purchased a recurve, 66'' long , 28" draw at 40#. I am new to archery an bought this to target shoot on my land. What type/style of arrow is best? (length, wt, etc...) I know a little about arrow wt. to bow poundage , but not much else. Aluminum vs. Cedar ? please help!

Go to eastons web site and look up their arrow selection chart that would give you and idea of what arrow to use.
I would go with the Aluminum to start with cause they are cheap and ya gonna lose a few of them
Oh and welcome to the forum

No. Do NOT go to Easton's website and look at their arrow selection chart. IT'S HORRIBLE for recurves. It always recommends arrows that are several sizes too stiff. Go here instead and look in the aluminum arrow chart:

This is about the best chart I know of for matching aluminum arrows totraditional bows.
