hi my bow is the switchback xt anyway i brought it to the bow shop and he tells me he thinks my strings may be stretched a) is this possible seeing how it is only about 6 months old and not shot very much or b) what would everyone reccommend for new strings if they are stretched

Mathews strings are known for creeping (stretching) I would replace it with one from Gibblet here on the forum I use his strings and they are 2nd to none

wait a second ! your shop guy told you they stretched and he didn't put it back it time ? did he een offer ?

Let's see now. The bow is a Mathews and it's 6 months old. You either have Zebra or Barracuda strings. You want to know if they have maybe crept a bit? It's all but a certainty. That's what they do the most consistently.

As for the shop guy? Do they sell Mathews? Did you buy the bow there? Of so, were it me, at the very least I would have taken a look at the cam's timing marks and if needed put the cam rotation back in time. We call that customer service.
