Knowing BowTech I'm sure this bow won't disappoint. But I admit it is a bit odd looking at first.

Reflex and deflex are measured from the pivot point of the limb and it appears to me that the pivot point would be where the back truss of the riser connects to the mid point of the limb. That would make this a deflexed bow with short stubby limbs. Cover up the front truss of the riser and the front half of the limb and you have a similar design to the PSE Mach X. Now if that back truss moves as the bow is drawn its a completely different monster.

It looks like it just might give you some of the forgiveness characteristics of a deflex riser without compromising the feel and speed of a reflex.

I know it is really just marketing something new and what spin they put on it really doesn't concern me much,I think I like it.

Beam me aboard Scottie! Thats the first thing that came to mind when i saw the pic. Honestly i know looks can be decieving but it looks like something Warf the clingon would carry on his back in a holster. It looks all cool and stuff and may shoot great but it's just not my cup of tea. Maybe i'm just to old school but no thanks, i'll keep shooting my 04 Liberty.[/align]

The Center Limb Pivot System is supposed to eliminate uneeded stress on the limbs caused by limb twist and such. It also is supposed to eliminate uneeded limb travel (decreases limb travel 50%) making the bow quieter and totally dead in the hands! IBO speeds somewhere near 330fps with split limb design.

That's what i've heard....

If you look close its not a split limb it is just a slot cut out in the limb for the "truss" to move back and forth in.

I remember when I thought Parallel limbed bows didn't look right, now they are what I shoot & love.
This could be the next big step. I've sworn off a new bow for 07, maybe 08 though.
