Thanks for the link. I get it now. The helical looks funny like the fletching is bunched up at the top and anyone post a actual picture of a helical fletching. and if I am shooting a WB which would go through better? offset I assume.

Offset is definitely better for the whisker biscuit , and blazers are a great vain for the biscuit, as offset.

Hey thanks guys. I shoot blazers now. and I have been cutting the vains off when practicing with broadheadsso want to get my own fletcher (having the shop do it over and over is getting expensive) can any straight fletcher do offset fletchings or do I need one specificly to to offset?

I've not seen any straight jigs that cannot do offset. On thing to consider is a jig that allows you to use different clamps like the Bitzenberger or Jo-Jan. You can buy one with a straight clamp but in the future you can always buy a helical clamp if you decide to change.
