Offset vs helical???

I just received a dozen GT XT's 5575's. The order was exactly as I specified down to the last detail. The only concern I have is the offset of the feathers. Maybe I have been considering helical as offset, because the feathers are almost straight. If I look down the shaft I can see where the feathers just ever so slightly turn to the right. Is this considered right offset? I havent had a chance to shoot these arrows yet, do you think they will fly true setup like this? I shoot 100gr Snypers so I dont think I should have a problem, I guess I was just expecting more of a "twist" on the feathers.

RE: Offset vs helical???
Just curiously, Did you buy them online?
My GT have a 4 degree off set. I find this to be a good compermise between stability and speed. You'll get rotation which should help with broadhead flight but not soo much spin that it slows your arrows dramatically. I personally like the off set as opposed to a true helic.

RE: Offset vs helical???
You have an offset. A helical will wrap around the shaft and is usually more pronounced than an offset. Shooting mechs with an offset will be just fine. Helical will stabilize an arrow better than offset, IMO.

If I'm not mistaken wouldn't you want the offset to be to the left on a right handed bow just like helical. You would want the arrow to rotate away from the riser. In this case it sounds like the arrows were fletched for a left handed bow?
