Default String supressor problem on the switchback xt

This question has to deal with my dads new bow, i think their called string suppressors its the 2 rubber stoppers on each end of the switchback xt. they seem to be wearing on the strings. i was wondering if others had the same problem and if it can be fixed. we have hadthe stringsrepaired once. thanks.

I don't know if it makes a ton of difference but I put a thick coat of string wax on the suppressors on my Switchback. I'd like to think it's helping but I honestly can't tell either way.

I have the XT, got it about three weeks ago and have about 600 arrows thru it. I haven't noticed anything yet, but will keep my eyes on it.
