Default distance between..

hey guys, just a quick, maybe pointless question but hey what do u do right? Just wondering if there is a certain distance a string silencer of any kind should be from your cam? and if there should be a certain distance between the silencer and the peep sight? thanks in advance!

No real certain distance but the closer you put them toward the cam, the less speed you may loose being sure you don't have them interfering with the cams. A couple inches is fine. No real correlation to the peep either as long as the don't interfere there either. Be sure to have the upper and lower silencers the same.

If you really want to get anal about it (not suggesting that you are, just that some do this), you can shoot them at different locations while putting the arrows through a crono. As you move them from center towards cams, there will come a point, where the speed loss will remain about the same. This is the area where is does no good to move them any closer to the cam.

Where ever they sound best. I have shot my single cam with one silincer and it still worked pretty good if you put in the right spot.
