Default Help Problem

Hi i just went to my proshop to get a rest put on that i got. Well when i got home i went out to shoot my bow and its shooting all over the place. Its a NAP Smart Rest Drop-Away. I did have a Whisker Bisquit and it was shootingfine. I switched because my whisker bisquit was eating my arrows fletching. I need some help here. Im getting frustrated about this. Im pretty sure the rest is set up right because my proshop set it up but some poeple make mistakes so i dont know. I dont know anything else that might cause this. Its shooting Bullet holes in paper. I need some advice.

Check to make sure you don't have fletching contact. Drop aways need to be timed so that they drop completely before the fletching gets to them. After that, investigate centershot and nock point but it sounds like you're getting fletch contact. Are you shooting cock fletch down? You can also go to NAP's web site for tuning tips.

To check for fletching contact you can use some baking soda on the fletchings. After you shoot, if you have baking soda on the rest you'll know you've got contact.

SmokinVFT--with most drop away rest you should nock the arrow with the "cocked vane up" try this and see what happens.

It sounds like the arrow is definitely making contact somewhere. Also check to see if there is space between the cables and the vanes, when the arrow is nocked--maybe the restwindage isn't adjusted properly.
