As my grandfather always said, "Once you learn the [bow], you can put the [arrow] anywhere you want it."

If the bow feels good to you, get it. don't worry about what the "other guys" are shooting. Their hands are built differently than yours, thus, bow "X" will feel different to them than it does to you.

Granted there are people who can make any bow look like it's the best in the world when in actuality it's the shooter. For instance, my bow tech can pick upANY bow and shoot quarter sized groups at 20 yards. The kicker, he can do it with a releaseAND fingers!

Iwould think Hoyt overall since they tend to have a lot less deflex in their risers, small grip areas, cam& 1/2= level nock travel & more mass weight. Although they usually aren't the fastest they look to still place overall performace in front of FPS.

That was true UNTIL the Zephyr cam came along IMHO (not my cup of tea).

BTW, I don't shoot hoyt- just going off of bow specs in general.

Bow brand doesn't count for much, most all of today's bows will shoot better than we can. Regardless of the brand you choose,a bow with a comfortable draw weight (for you), alonger axle to axle length (stability),and greater brace height (forgiveness)is going to shoot more accurately for you than alot of the short speed bows that are currently "all the rage".
