Bowtech Patriot Question
Looking at a slightly used 2002 Patriot?
On a 70lb patriot, is the draw weight adjustable. If so how much and which way. Also, what's the deal with the warranty? Only to original owner? Are these bows so good that the warranty isn't much of an issue?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Bowtech Patriot Question
Yes it is adjustable from 60 (min) to 70(max) pounds.
In my experience as well as a few lcoal dealers I know quite well they are as good as anyone out there and better than the majority for warranty issues. They replaced a brand new bow for me that the shipping company destroyed in transit. THAT'S SERVICE!
However, the warranty is only applicable to the original owner.

RE: Bowtech Patriot Question
In my opinion, if you can purchase a bow of your liking for a price that will allow you to pay for a new set of limbs and string, should you have trouble, would be a good buy. I see lots of Mathews on E-Bay going for almost new price and the warranty is only good for the original owner, which dosen't add up well if you break a limb a month after purchase. I priced a set of limbs for an MQ1 I had and the local dealer wanted $189.00. The Patriot is a very nice bow and if you can get it for a good price and decide you don't like it, you can sell it and take much less of a loss than what I paid for mine!
