In my opinion, if you can purchase a bow of your liking for a price that will allow you to pay for a new set of limbs and string, should you have trouble, would be a good buy. I see lots of Mathews on E-Bay going for almost new price and the warranty is only good for the original owner, which dosen't add up well if you break a limb a month after purchase. I priced a set of limbs for an MQ1 I had and the local dealer wanted $189.00. The Patriot is a very nice bow and if you can get it for a good price and decide you don't like it, you can sell it and take much less of a loss than what I paid for mine!
