Is this a dumb question ???
I shoot a pse bruin with a loop release. I have shot it for 3 years and never got it togroup very well. But anyway the top of my loopis wearing more than the bottom. Could this mean that my rest is to low which wouldmake the loop to low causing the top to wear more? I really don't know it was just a thought.. 8-1-06 got a new loop and new rest today (trophy taker ) groups much better with this rest. It beat the WB easy .

Are you getting fletching contact? Do the foot powder spray rest. And also shoot it through paper. My guess is the design of your release is just causing uneven wear on your loop or your form could be another factor.

RE: Is this a dumb question ???
Your wear has to do with how you draw the bow not how it is tuned. Try raising the bow and drawing on your target. In other words, aim the bow before you draw, then draw the bow straight back to your anchor points while still holding on the target. If you can't do that you probably are drawing too much weight or have too long of a draw length.
Or like said above, it may just be your release design. I think my loop wears more at the top as well now that I think about it.
Not a dumb question at all by the way.

Yup, probably what Paul said or maybe a little burr on the jaws of your release. I hope you've changed that loop a few times in those 3 years.[&:] One of my friends had such a bad habit of pulling up on the loop from the get go that he ended up actually sliding the loop up the string enough to cause the serviing to separate on his string. He couldn't figure out what was happening until, I believe it wasLen watched him shoot and told him he was drawing improperly.
