Default Really dumb question

I found a tree that I really wanna hang a stand. Problem is, it's a walnut tree. Full of walnuts.

If a Walnut would fall from 40+ feet up, and whale me in the dome - would it knock me unconscious?

I thought about maybe using my hockey helmet for when I hunt that stand, but that would be borderline ridiculous. Or would it? I mean, those walnuts are bigger than golf balls. Hard as a brick too.

I mean, I've had acorns slap me senseless. A Walnut has to be bad.

Getting cranked by a falling Monkey Ball would probably be the gold standard, but a full-size walnut ranks right up there, in terms of pain and overall humiliation.

You'd just have to see this tree - it's PERFECT. Downwind of the entry point, lots of branches to climb on, no ivy, straight as a pole... Just LOADED with magnum-sized walnuts.

Just wear the helmet.

Ever thought of one of them umbrellas?

If you're strapped in.....the fall won't kill ya....and it would make a great magazine read. Run with scissors! Sit there without a hat and SHAKE!

Get up in there! Yea, someone might laugh if they see you in full camo and a helmet. But they will feel bad when they see the short bus come pick you up.

(it's just a joke people)
