String noise???
Maybe a dumb question. But I have started hearing a string vibration after a buddy said something. Took it to the so called Pro shop and they saidits a bow its going to do that I just don't remember hearing it before. They checked out my cam, Idler, timing and made sure everything was tight but still the same noise. Even changed the string suppressors top and bottom. I know it is the string making the noise. Any ideas how to shut it up or is it just in my head.[&:]

RE: String noise???
I had the same problem. I waxed the heck out of my string and got new string leeches. Turns out the old one were like dry rot and not working that good because of it. Hope this helps.

RE: String noise???
I did hear the string noise,I promise. also noticed a hand shock from the bow when i shot it that I never noticed before. When Legacy took the bow to the pro shop, the owner said that we shoot way to much. I shoot Legacy's bow every now then so he can just sit back and listen.Anyone have any suggestions on how to find the ghost before bow season.

RE: String noise???
You are no doubt shooting the factory strings. They are notorious for creeping, thus throwing the cam out of it's optimum position. This often causes more noise and vibration. You need to check the bow's specs and see if they are what is called for. Possibly need to twist up the rigging to get things more in spec.
And when you get ready to replace those inferior strings get a PM to Gibblet and get some good ones. Usually at no more cost than some generic rigging from most shops.
