I shot paper last night and after a slight adjustment I'm shooting bullet holes. I think it is a little quieter. It seemed like drawing the bow (I already shoot a string loop) with the biscuit a little low was creating a good bit of drag on the rest. I'll play with it a little and maybe try a few different arrow shafts. Thanks for all of the input!

I shoot Gold Tip Expeditions and found that the HD camo finish did produce quite a bit of noise on the draw. Last year someone on here posted that the camo finish was noisier than the black. I bought the same arrow in black this year and in fact it was much quieter through the WB

I've heard on this site that some guys actually put a THIN strip of moleskin on thebottom of the biscuit hole. I'm going to try it but I can't imagine how it would stay on.

I switched to a smooth finish arrow and all noise is gone. I use Beman BlackMax but the Easton Axis are also very quiet.
