Is it possible to switch the cock vane from down to up? Any issues or problems with doing this? Since the vanes are hitting the rest, this may be the easiest / best fix...

Have you tried to manually turn your arrows while knocked to position your fletchings correctly. Just grab the arrow while knocked and turn it, if you are using graphites.

[/quo te] Thats what i would try too.It does not matter about cock vane down or up with a drop away rest.I shoot with mine up and it shoots great.<y cock vane was hitting the part that holds the arrow when bow is not drawn and i switched to cock vane up solved my problem may work for you.

Have you checked the timing of the rest. I am guessing it is falling too late and not getting out of the way. You can check this easily by seeing how long it takes for the rest to reach full height in the draw cycle. It should be at the very end of the draw cycle. No more than 3or 4 inches from the back wall is a good starting point. You want it down before passing the valley. That should eliminate the problem. This of course is after you set the nock to 3/16" to 1/4" above level.

Good Luck.
