Default oneida bows

Is anyone in the Augusta Ga area shooting a Oneida bow? I find the design intriguing and would like to try one!

When uncle Ted shoots one on tv the oneida sounds loud to me, I have never shot one though.

Lots of people use them for bowfishing. They fling the heavyfish arrowsin a nice zippy manner.

They do have a definite thwang when you shoot them.

I've heard those STS system silencers will get rid of that.

Here's my Oneida... (older model)

Eeverytime I watched Ted shoot the Extreme Eagle, it was always quiet. All I could hear was the arrow going across the rest. Oneidas have a different sound to them, not loud. Bowtests did a test last fall I think. The Switchback was only 8 decibals louder, and the Switchback comes stock with 7 or 8 sound dampeners and the Black Eagle they tested had nothing on it, no Limbsavers, no nothing.

I think you will like the Oneida it is smooth, fast,Quiet and looks awesome what more could a man want? I shoot a Aero force x80 and a Black eagle. I use the AF for hunting, and I have killed Turkey and deer with it. The bow is a 1993 and is still supper accurate (I have robin hooded on several occasions) and reliable. As for the BE I use it for comp and it has not let me down yet.
