Using Back muscles

when i draw and anchor, how do I activate the muscles in my lower back????

If your draw weight is too heavy, they will automatically be activated.
In my experience, you cannot activate any muscles on commandwithout developing them with weight training or other specificexercises.

sounds like your talking about back tension to release your release. You dont use lower muscles. you want to push your bow hand out like your saying stop. and pulling back w/ your release hand and squeezing your back shoulder muscles together. When it goes off. If it surprised you. You did it correctly. If not you punched the release. also make sure when your bow goes off. it propells forward towards the target. and dont grip hard on the bow so you wont torque it. Good luck!!

I practice in my house at night at 5 yards. Working on form. not aiming. just getting strong shot each time. Will help build those muscles you havent used before.
